The Coffee Guide, 4th edition – Virtual launch of the world’s leading coffee guide
The International Trade Centre (ITC) unveils the fourth edition of The Coffee Guide on International Coffee Day.

The Coffee Guide is the world’s most extensive, hands-on and neutral source of information on the international coffee trade. Many in the coffee industry consider it the go-to reference. It covers trade issues relevant to coffee growers, traders, exporters, transportation companies, certifiers, associations and authorities.

The event shares findings regarding trends that have emerged over the last decade, especially related to quality, digitalization, climate change and consumer preferences. Most importantly, it looks at how to address the distribution of power, profit and resources across the supply chain. Speakers include heads of major coffee bodies as well as some of the principal authors.

WHEN: 1 October, 16:00 - 17:00 CET

WHY: Coffee demand continues to rise – while farmers face volatile market prices, climate change uncertainties and changing consumer patterns.

This event draws from the extensive contributions from all parts of the industry to suggest how to build resilience and manage risk in changing times.

WHO: Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director, International Trade Centre will share key findings at the opening of the session.

Lead authors and coordinators of the new edition Philip von der Goltz, Sarah Charles and Hernan Manson will share insights on the publication and its objectives.
