03:38:45
Thanks Anna for her question on Singapore Government role in Angel and VC investments. Singapore government involvement starts at idea stage in the Universities and Polytechnics. The Education Ministry and the Trade Ministry together with BSO create Start-up Accelerator programs for young budding entrepreneurs. This Accelerator platform comprised Angel Investors, Seasoned Business Owners, Consultants with various expertise from biz strategy, branding, IT, HR, etc. The start-ups are "groom" into SMEs and then a different set of SME Funding Program can be deployed. This continues to the SME achieves scale and eventually IPO or acquired by Private Equity funds.

03:40:00
that's absolutely fantastic Syed...we at SBM Bank internally we are also trying to empower more of our females to venture into IT sector...we also mentor young girls in Kenyan schools to venture into IT...as Kenya has a huge goal to become a "Digital First" economy.....let's chat after this

03:42:34
